After moving to Tallarook in 2017, partners, chef Milan Gnawali and lawyer Kris Medson, wanted to bring the vibrancy, culture and community-feel of urban-style cafes to the region.
With this mission in mind, and with a single-minded focus on delivering exceptional quality food and coffee, they opened Little Stones Cafe in Seymour.
Head Chef, Milan was born in Nepal, and completed his culinary training in Melbourne after emigrating to Australia. He understands how to combine fresh, quality ingredients to provide simple, creative and most importantly, delicious fare.
Together with Kris and the Little Stones team, they’ve created a bright, relaxed and stylish space that is welcoming and inclusive to locals and visitors alike.

The name, Little Stones, comes from Milan and Kris' daughter who has a habit of collecting stones in her pockets and secreting them away in random corners of their house.
